NYC orthopedic shoulder specialist

The shoulder is very complex for a number of reasons. It’s comprised of bones (3 of them, to be precise) that actually form two joints –  the acromioclavicular joint, where the highest point of the scapula meets the clavicle, and the glenohumeral joint. Along with the bones, the shoulder is also comprised of a combination of muscles and tendons that keep your arm centered in your shoulder socket. These tissues are called the rotator cuff. With so many intricate structures working together, it’s no wonder that a small shoulder injury can cause large amounts of pain and frustration. If you’re living with shoulder pain, it’s time that you see an orthopedic shoulder specialist – and you’re in luck! We have the top shoulder specialists in New York City on staff.

OrthoManhattan is comprised of the absolute best orthopedic surgeons in their respective fields. Our practice is exclusively composed of experienced “Top Doctors,” all of which are passionate about providing the absolute best standard of care both in and out of the operating room!
