Dr. Jonathan Stieber, Director of the Spine Center at OrthoManhattan, recently sat with Inside Edition to discuss the severity of Kevin Hart’s x-rays following a severe car crash.

“There are patients with x-rays like his (Kevin Hart) that are in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives,” Dr. Stieber states as he explains the reasoning behind Kevin Hart’s back brace and the rods that were surgically screwed into his spine to help with stability.

Kevin Hart, both a beloved comedian and film superstar, posted an intimate video about his road to recovery following a severe car crash that broke his spine in three different places. “Basically, what you realize is that you’re not in control. No matter how much you think you’re in control, you’re not in control,” Hart says as he looks back on the accident.
